Software Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Perform

  end-to-end manual testing

  for web and mobile applications.
• Prepare and execute

  test scenarios, test cases, and test data

  .
• Conduct

  functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing

  .
• Perform

  mobile testing

  across Android/iOS devices and tools.
• Validate UI/UX across different screen resolutions and browsers.
• Log defects with clear reproduction steps and work closely with developers for resolution.
• Participate in

  requirements analysis

  , sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings.
• Ensure test coverage across

  multiple domains

  (e.g., e-commerce, finance, healthcare, etc.).
• Support release activities and ensure product quality before deployment.
• Maintain proper documentation for testing activities and results.

Preferred candidate profile

• 23 years of

  strong manual testing

  experience.
• Experience testing

  web and mobile applications

  .
• Good understanding of

  SDLC

  STLC

  defect lifecycle

  .
• Ability to design detailed and comprehensive

  test cases

  .
• Experience with

  cross-browser and cross-platform testing

  .
• Exposure to

  multiple domains

  (preferred).
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as

  Azure DevOps

  , etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Basic knowledge of

  API testing

  (Postman or similar tools).
• Understanding of

  automation concepts

  (not mandatory).
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum

  environments.
• Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
