Software Test Engineer

As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications. - Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX testing to validate features and ensure a seamless user experience. - Design, implement, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium and related tools. - Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend logic and integrations. - Utilize Azure DevOps for test case management, bug tracking, and collaboration. - Identify, log, track, and retest defects using established tools and processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve product quality. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. Qualifications required for this role include: - 4-6 years of experience in software QA, including both manual and automation testing. - Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and test automation frameworks. - Proficiency in Postman for API testing. - Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for test and defect management. - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and collaboration abilities. It's good to have experience in Agile development environments, exposure to performance or load testing tools, and ISTQB or relevant testing certifications.
