Hiring for Software Engineer - Testing - Node JS

- Location: Bangalore

- Experience: 5+ years of coding and automation testing experience in JavaScript technologies

- Education: Degree or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

Key Responsibilities

- API Testing: Develop and test scalable and highly available Restful APIs/Microservices using JavaScript technologies

- Automation Testing: Create end-to-end automation test and suites using Playwright/Selenium with BDD approach

- Technical Expertise: Practical experience with GraphQL, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API gateway integrations (3Scale)

Required Skills

- JavaScript: Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and experience in development and testing

- TypeScript: At least 1 year of hands-on experience

- Automation Testing: Experience with automation testing techniques and tools (Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, Selenium)

- CI/CD: Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with distributed services ecosystem

Desirable Skills

- Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

- API Gateway: Understanding of API gateway integrations (3Scale)

- Single-Sign-on: Understanding of token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, OAuth)

- Message Queues: Knowledge of task/message queues (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, Kafka)
