Software Test Engineer Functional

You are looking for a Functional Tester to contribute to an innovative Agentic AI project on a 3-month contract. Your role involves requirement analysis, test planning, test case preparation, and execution of functional, smoke, integration, regression, and API testing for AI-based applications. You will validate system behavior, data flow, and decision logic within Agentic AI modules, ensuring all testing work is carried out as per defined standards. Collaborating with the project team for query resolution and defect tracking is essential, along with preparing comprehensive test reports and maintaining test documentation. You must be agile in testing approach, ready to adjust work shifts, and demonstrate technical expertise based on project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements and identify ambiguities and gaps - Participate in testing procedure walkthroughs - Prepare test plan, scenarios, cases, and data for functional flow - Conduct testing within defined procedures and tight schedules - Perform various types of testing in the assigned environment for AI-based applications - Collaborate with team members for query and defect resolution - Prepare test reports and maintain documentation Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or related field - Good understanding of agile methodology, software testing, and defect life cycles - Excellent communication skills - Ability to work with test analysts and developers - Strong exposure to Agentic AI tools or frameworks - Experience in testing AI/ML or automation-based systems preferred Additional Details: The ideal candidate should possess knowledge about database testing and SQL queries, along with being ISTQB Foundation level certified.,
