Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage software development and testing projects from inception to completion.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure timely delivery of milestones and adherence to quality standards.
• Track and report project progress using Agile/Scrum or traditional project management methodologies.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews.

Team Leadership:

• Supervise and guide cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and engineers.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Provide mentorship and skill development opportunities for team members.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and report status to internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Oversight:

• Manage the design, development, and testing of automotive software systems
• Participate and collaborate with experts to drive the Requirement Elicitation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, and AUTOSAR.
• Conduct risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies to ensure software reliability and safety.
• Oversee requirements gathering, system architecture design, software design documentation, and interface definitions.

Quality Assurance:

• Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and validation procedures.
• Monitor software testing metrics to ensure consistent quality.
• Identify and resolve defects, ensuring a robust final product.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for process and technology improvements.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in automotive software development and testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading software development and testing projects, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Skilled in usage of Tools like Jira, DOORs/ Vizure, Release management tools (Git), Project tracking tools
• Strong knowledge of automotive standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, etc.) and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in automotive software development (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, JAVA, Android, HMI Tools, Python).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
• Experience with UX design workflows and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of HMI frameworks (e.g., Figma, Qt/QML, Kanzi, HTML5, Unreal, or Android-based UIs).
• Experience with cloud integration, over-the-air (OTA) updates, or connected services is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, user-centric software
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex technical environments

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, MQTT).
• Experience with testing tools like VectorCAST, CANoe, or similar.
• Knowledge of model-based design and simulation tools.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles in automotive software.
