As a Software Function Head at our Ernakulam office, you will have the responsibility of supervising all software development operations, leading the software development team, and steering project management endeavors. Your role will involve devising and implementing IT strategies in line with the company's objectives. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative work culture to ensure efficient project delivery and performance. Your key responsibilities will include architecting scalable platforms and promoting modular design strategies, ensuring software quality, adhering to regulatory standards, and upholding technical excellence. You will collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and product teams, while also nurturing and enhancing a highly proficient engineering team. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Embedded and Application Software Development and Architectures, along with strong skills in Team Management, Leadership, and Project Management. Proficiency in developing and executing IT strategies, excellent communication, and leadership abilities are crucial. A successful track record in a similar role, coupled with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desired. Previous experience in healthcare, medical devices, and regulated product development is preferred. A strategic mindset combined with practical technical acumen is essential for this role.
