Job Description

Why this job matters
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting design, development, and modification of API proxies on Google APIGEE. Candidate should be able to manage a small team to manage technical delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, providing designs and development in APIGEE APIs, Java script and Node JS and DevOPs. Providing expert troubleshooting of application issues, interfacing effectively with E2E Designers, business owners, and infrastructure engineers, following and enforcing policy, and creating documentation for changes. Also should have knowledge/working experience with JAVA frameworks.

What youll be doing

Min 4+ Years of hands-on experience on API Management, Design and Development [APIGEE preferable].

Should be able to work with stake holder and understand business requirement.

Good understand of API design and exposure on API gateway.

Experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.

hands on with Docker, Kubernetes (Good to have).

Must be a key player to take responsibility and drive the assignments.

Actively defines solution, which includes evaluation, selection, and integration of necessary technical components to create solution designs that support the defined functional and non-functional requirements.

Ensures that the designed/reviewed solutions conform to architectural requirements such as scalability, maintainability, reliability, extensibility, usability and security.

Leading a team of 4-5 members.

Ability to communicate with the business owners, understand business requirement and converting those to technical specification.

Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills to include the ability to analyse and test a wide array of application changes.

Possesses strong attention to detail skills.

Ability to analyse the impact of decisions before execution.

Strong analysis and debugging experience required.Skills Required

Good experience on APIGEE API Management and API Principles and REST principles
Good experience on Nodejs and Java script
Good understanding about security policies and Authentication and authorization
Good understanding of protocols and transport layer security MTLSOAuth
Gateway policies for Proxy API creation
Experience in API platform on designing implementing REST APIs
Cloud experience on AWS good to have
Handson experience in automated unit testing and related tools eg Chai Mockito Sinon postman etc
Hands on experience JIRA tool for planning and tracking of the work
Knowledge of CI CD and awareness of tools like Jenkins Ansible GitlabCI Sonarqube etc
Gateway policies for Proxy API creation
Should able to learn and pickup the market trending technologies quickly
Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile
