Software Engineering Lead, Mobile Apps

Role Overview: As a Software Engineering Lead for Mobile Apps at ANSR, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer experience and maintenance of Abercrombie and Hollister iOS and Android consumer apps. Your responsibilities will include independently writing test cases, executing and logging defects for both iOS and Android mobile app features, collaborating with developers to ensure the delivery of a quality product, and working on test automation and implementation of CI/CD/CT practices. Key Responsibilities: - Independently write test cases, execute, and log defects for both iOS and Android mobile app features - Function as a member of the Agile team and participate in various sprint ceremonies - Ensure the Engineering team delivers a quality product meeting the defined Acceptance Criteria - Review and update regression suite coverage regularly based on new features - Collaborate closely with developers to automate regression suite and implement CI/CD/CT practices - Plan, implement, and track end-to-end test activities with development teams - Validate requirements and ensure a good customer experience by working closely with BA/PM/Tech Leads/UX - Identify test needs and test data setup, quantify the size and impact of issues for backlog placement - Review production defects to determine test automation needs to prevent recurring issues Qualifications: - 6-9 years of overall experience - 4+ years of experience in Mobile Native apps iOS/Android development and testing - Automation Experience using Espresso, Kotlin, Appium, Java - Retail Domain experience preferred - Proficient in requirements and test management tools like JIRA, qTest, etc - Experience with triaging tools similar to Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, Quantum metrics - Good verbal and written communication skills - Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Good prioritization skills and timely delivery with quality - Experience with Charles/Proxyman network tracing toolsets - Experience with Android Studio and/or XCODE - Experience with Mobile Cloud test lab Kobiton, SauceLabs, AWS, or similar is preferred (Any mobile test lab),
