Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios Executing tests on software functionality – Feature testing, Sanity test-suite, Regression and Integration testing Exploratory testing from end-user’s perspective Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team Interacting with Product team to understand product requirements Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. Roles and Responsibilities Under general supervision, develops, codes, test, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software customers. Requires good understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from customers. May assist in development of software user manuals. Demonstrates software.
