Job Summary: As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications. you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying scalable and reliable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative products and be a part of a collaborative and dynamic work environment Roles & Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Lead, Product Development and team member to understand project requirements and objectives. Design and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions. Develop and maintain APIs to support other Intergrated systems. Integrate data storage solutions and ensure optimal performance. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring high levels of application performance, security, and scalability. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in development. Years of Experience: 2 to 5 years in backend application development (Excluding the internship experience). Education Qualification & Certifications (optional) Required Minimum Qualifications : Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field) Skill Set Required Strong in programming, data structure and algorithms. Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot and related frameworks. Strong in Java 1.8+, GoF Design Patterns. Experience working with Kafka, Elastic Search. Experience working with PostgreSQL or any relational database. Worked in developing microservices. Understanding of containerization (docker, Kubernetes) Experience with development tools like Git, Gradle, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins, Artifactory etc. Experience with TDD, code testability standards, JUnit/Mockito. Understanding of DevOps practices and CICD model of development. Agile project experience along with working on Agile tools like JIRA. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and Good written and verbal communication skills.
