Our Bangalore Digital Technology Hub plays a pivotal role in Volvos global digital transformation strategy. Key Responsibilities
Development
Lead development and implementation using Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Optimization, Azure DevOps, REST API Development, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Architecture, Salesforce DevOps (Gearset, Copado), Salesforce Core Cloud.
Design, build, and maintain scalable solutions supporting global operations.
Collaborate with APEC stakeholders across product management and engineering teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with international teams using Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps.
Participate actively in Agile processes and sprint planning.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation across regions.
Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
Contribute to roadmap planning and architecture decisions.
Mentor junior team members and foster knowledge sharing initiatives.
Professional Experience
7+ years of hands-on experience in software development, system administration, or related fields.
Deep expertise in Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Optimization, Azure DevOps, REST API Development, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Architecture, Salesforce DevOps (Gearset, Copado), Salesforce Core Cloud with proven implementation success.
Experience collaborating effectively with global teams across multiple time zones.
Industry knowledge in automotive, manufacturing, or enterprise software (preferred).
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Apex Custom APIs, Apex Debugging and Logging, Apex Optimization, Azure DevOps, REST API Development, Salesforce Apex Development, Salesforce Architecture, Salesforce DevOps (Gearset, Copado), Salesforce Core Cloud.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with enterprise integration patterns and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in database design and optimization using SQL and NoSQL technologies.
