Software Engineer

Role Overview: At Orbit & Skyline India Pvt. We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for software to customers. - Respond to and resolve customer requests through emails, problem reports, and discussion forums. - Troubleshoot software issues by analyzing logs, reproducing problems, and debugging code to identify root causes. - Qualify software by following SDLC and test methodology, including test-data management, bug reporting, test design, test case development, and automated script execution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely solutions for customers. - Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting or software installation. Qualification Required: - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Working knowledge of Computer Architecture and Operating systems. - Experience in technical support or testing methods. - Knowledge of Unix, Linux, Qnx (RTOS), C, and C++. - Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, or Information Technology. - 3 to 5 years of experience.
