About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in building and maintaining network protocol software. If you're passionate about low-level networking, protocol design, and performance tuning, and want to work on production-grade tooling that makes a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize network protocol software and routing stacks.
• Write high-performance, concurrent code in Python 3.12+ and C/C++ or Rust.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for reliability and regression.
• Build tooling to test, validate, and simulate protocol behaviour in real-world conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Perform performance profiling, bottleneck analysis, and code optimization.
• Integrate tooling with containerized environments using Docker.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering focused on network protocols.
• Strong coding skills in Python and either C/C++ or Rust.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Solid grasp of Layer 2/3/4 protocols and experience with at least one routing stack (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IS-IS).
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade tooling with automated tests.
• Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration.

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• Experience with fuzzing and network traffic tools such as:
• AFL++, BooFuzz, Peach, Scapy
• Proficiency with Wireshark, Tshark, or other traffic inspection tools.
• Understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
