Software Engineer (JS + Convex stack) - Remote

About the role

Insyd is looking for a founding Software Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full-time and remote role. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Insyd's products and services from inception to launch.

Not too long ago, India was known for its Architecture, craftsmanship and building materials for being in harmony with nature. The designs were stunning, but in a tranquil way. This ancient art is rapidly losing the battle to modernisation, most of which has to do with poor business practices.

At Insyd, we’re helping Indian design firms and material brands grow so that they can take Indian design and materials to the global stage. We’re their technology operating system – giving them everything they need to run their businesses, market their products and services, and expand to new markets. Our product portfolio contains software for business insights, communication and relation management tools and intelligent automations.

We’re incubated at NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore, and recognized by Startup India. Our founders are BITS Pilani and SPA engineer-architect duo with 15 years of combined experience with startups and top MNCs. The company is based in Bangalore, but the team is distributed across India.

We're looking for you if you:

• Have a B.E./B.Tech. degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Have 0.5 - 2 years of full-time software development experience (internships considered)
• Can code proficiently in NextJS + NodeJS stack
• Are good at software architecture and design
• Love solving real-life problems and can work independently in a high-intensity setting
