Software Engineer

The NetSuite Developer will be responsible for software development, design, and overall performance of customization in NetSuite to support the greater global business. This role requires expertise in understanding business requirements and translating them into out-of-the-box solutions in NetSuite, as well as building sustainable and scalable customizations. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering team members and business teams to understand needs and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build configuration and customization based on defined requirements and conduct unit testing within the NetSuite system.
• Support deployments through various environments and seasonal updates.
• Develop scalable solutions to ensure efficient application performance.
• Work within a development pipeline involving source control and automated testing of the financial system.
• Design and build integrations with other applications and support data analytics.
• Provide guidance to team members and stakeholders on best practices for NetSuite functionality and business processes.
• Collaborate with team members in an Agile framework, maintaining daily alignment.
• Assist in validating customizations during routine system maintenance, including upgrades and patches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NetSuite customizations.
• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for customizations.

• Good understanding and proficiency in English.
• Experience in NetSuite ERP, CRM, Suite Commerce, and NetSuite technology infrastructure.
• Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, and SuiteCloud framework.
• Experience with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, AJAX, and SuiteScript.
• Understanding of object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, and experience with object-oriented languages.

• Experience integrating third-party applications and working with integration tools such as Dell Boomi.
• Experience with building automated test processes within NetSuite using applications like Jest or Jasmine.
• Familiarity with source control automation using GitHub and CI/CD with Jenkins for NetSuite customization.
