Software Engineer III

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions with high reliability and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, QA, and other engineers to define and implement features.
• Lead or contribute to the technical planning and execution of projects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency and care.
• Participate in architectural discussions and advocate for best practices in system design and software craftsmanship.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers.
• Stay current with new technologies and evaluate their potential use in our stack.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 47 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience building and deploying applications using modern frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, .NET Core, Node.js, Django).
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
