As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking- JP Wealth Management, you play a crucial role in designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities include: - Executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively - Creating secure and high-quality production code and maintaining algorithms that run synchronously - Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensuring design constraints are met - Gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets - Proactively identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture - Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies - Fostering a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications and skills required for this role: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 3 years of applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficiency in Java/J2EE, web services (Rest/Soap), Spring Core, MVC, Spring JDBC, Spring boot, and Messaging technologies like Kafka, RabbitMQ - Knowledge of UI frameworks like Angular V4 or ReactJS, SQL/NOSQL databases, PL/SQL, ORM (MyBatis/Hibernate), and basic Linux/UNIX - Experience with Eclipse/IntelliJ, JUnits, Maven, BitBucket/GIT, and JIRA - Demonstrated ability to take ownership of business-critical and complex applications - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Preferred qualifications and skills: - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies - Exposure to cloud technologies - Knowledge of Cloud, CI/CD (Jenkins/Sonar), and Test Automation (TDD/BDD) would be advantageous This job provides you with an exciting opportunity to advance your software engineering career within a dynamic and innovative team at JPMorgan Chase.,
