Description
Role Overview: You'll play a key role in building and scaling our mental health and wellness platform, contributing to both our B2C and B2B products. Working directly with our CTO and founding team, you'll develop cross-platform applications using React, React Native, Node.js (Fastify/Express), and MongoDB. From feature development to system design, your work will directly impact how users access expert care, both online and offline. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and scale front-end and back-end components using React, React Native, Node.js, and MongoDB. Collaborate with product and design teams to convert requirements into scalable, maintainable code. Build intuitive UI/UX for mobile and web platforms. Design RESTful APIs and manage database interactions using MongoDB. Ensure performance, responsiveness, and quality of applications across platforms. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to improving development practices. Work in a fast-paced startup environment, balancing quality and speed in an agile team setup. Basic Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4-5 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript-based stacks. Strong proficiency with React and/or React Native, Node.js (Fastify/Express), and MongoDB. Solid understanding of modern front-end development practices, component lifecycles, and state management. Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows. Proven ability to take ownership and deliver in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Nice-to-Have Requirements: Experience in HealthTech, wellness, or consumer-facing applications. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, testing tools, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.). Familiarity with TypeScript and mobile performance optimization. Interest in mental health, accessibility, or social impact work.
