Software Engineer (Fullstack)

To be successful as a Software Engineer (Java Full Stack), you should have experience with end-to-end software development lifecycle, software development methodologies like Waterfall and Agile, awareness of leading-edge tools, techniques, and services within IT. Software development expertise in Java (Servlets, JSPs, Javascript, React), J2EE Frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), databases (Oracle / DB2 / SQL / IMS DEDB), webservices (WSDL, SOAP & REST), XML & XML Java Parsers (xsd, dtd), application servers (JBoss, Tomcat), and version control software (SVN / CVS / Git). Responsible for interacting with staff across Business and IT functions including IT Architects, Service Managers, Technology Project Managers, Business Change Managers, SI Partners, 3rd parties, GTS, and GTIS. Provide input to Product/Project Manager(s) to identify and engage engineering resources for project success. Assist in balancing cost, time, quality, and risk in the technical development approach of a project and manage technical Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAIDs). Assessment may include key critical skills like risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills. This role is based out of Pune. Purpose of the role: Design, develop, and improve software utilizing various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. Accountabilities: - Develop and deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to define software requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. - Promote a culture of code quality, knowledge sharing, and stay informed of industry technology trends. - Adhere to secure coding practices, implement effective unit testing practices, and ensure reliable software solutions.
