Software Engineer (Front End - React.js)

Location: Mangalore (Work From Office)  

Experience: 1 Year in Product Company or 1.5-2 Years in Service + Projects  

Position: Full Time Permanent

We are looking for a talented Frontend Developer with expertise in React to join our Mangalore-based team. You will create engaging, responsive user interfaces for our product, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Responsibilities:  

- Develop and maintain user interfaces using React for high-quality, responsive designs.  

- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs for smooth data flow.

- Migrate the existing codebase from Angular to React (Next.js)  

- Optimize frontend performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.  

- Write clean, modular, and testable code adhering to best practices.  

- Work with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into functional components.  

- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and code reviews.  

- Debug and resolve frontend issues to enhance user experience.  

- Stay updated on React ecosystem trends and best practices.  

Requirements:  

- 1 year of experience in a product company or 1.5-2 years in service-based companies with product projects, using Next.js/React.  

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, Tailwind CSS, and Next.js (React ecosystem) (e.g., Redux, Hooks).  

- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.  

- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and modern build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite).  

- Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.

- Ability to understand and work effectively with large existing codebases. 

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.  

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).  

Secondary Skills: Basic backend development (e.g., Node.js).
