Job Description

IBM PowerVC(Power Virtualization Center) is avirtualization and cloud management softwaredesigned specifically for managingIBM Power Systems. It provides a simple, flexible, and powerful interface to managevirtual machines (VMs)on Power hardware runningAIX, IBM i, and Linux.

Manage & lead a team of ~15 engineers focussing on design, development & support of PowerVC deliverables and execution balancing OnPrem & PowerVS strategy.

Own stakeholder management & communication (both internal and external)

Drive a High Performance Culture

Implement the relevant strategy in line with the overall Power strategy

Ensure efficiency of daily operations & delivery

Identify & track risks

Encourage cross funtional collaboration

Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise

Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with experience in Virtualization & Cloud Management Domain

15+ years technical engineering experience including 5+ years of technical leadership/ management experience.

Possess expertise in Virtualization, Cloud & as-a-Service areas

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of developers.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. Proven Interpersonal soft, oral, and written communication skills.
