Software Development Engineer II (SDE 2)

As an SDE 2, you will take ownership of building robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications that integrate seamlessly with medical workflows. You will work across the entire software stack, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions. This role offers the opportunity to grow into technical leadership while working on advanced medical software and equipment that enhances efficiency, accuracy, and patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure full-stack applications
• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing code reviews and technical guidance
• Own architectural decisions for features and services, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, optimize performance, and fix bugs
• Work independently on ambiguous problems with reasonable autonomy
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
• Participate in and lead architectural discussions
• Provide comprehensive technical documentation including standards, configurations, and diagrams

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Next.js and modern React development
• Strong experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) including advanced features
• Solid understanding of Django Channels for real-time applications
• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge and database design skills
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with Supabase
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline setup and management
• Understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies
• Disciplined, systematic problem-solving skills
• Proactive attitude and ability to work independently

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
