The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java programming, object-oriented principles, and experience with modern development practices. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications, ensuring that the code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and other related technologies.
- Build and deploy RESTful APIs and ensure the performance, scalability, and security of services.
- Work with Spring Cloud to implement distributed system patterns such as circuit breakers, service discovery, and API gateways.
- Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of microservices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Java Developer, specifically with building microservices.
- Strong proficiency with Spring Boot for building Java-based microservices applications.
- Experience with Spring Cloud components for microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, development, and integration.
- Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, including service discovery, API gateway, circuit breakers, and fault tolerance.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and their integration with microservices.
- Version control experience using Git or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to team discussions, design, and development.
