Software Development Engineer 2 (Python/Django)

As a Software Developer at Vector Consulting Group, you will be responsible for the following: - Role Overview: Our software development team specializes in Product Development and is highly experienced in the various stages of the software development life cycle. Our Products are deployed at leading enterprises across India in Retail, Consumer Products, Automobile, Textile, Engineering, and Construction domains. - Key Responsibilities: - Python programming for at least 2 years - Django programming for at least 2 years - Proficiency in any SQL (MySQL / MS SQL etc) for at least 2 years - Integrating databases with Python scripts to fetch and write data - Experience in generating reports on Excel through Python - Developing dashboards and charts using Python - Designing, implementing, and reviewing solutions - Familiarity with processes like technical design, coding, unit testing, code review, and deployment - Taking ownership of tasks and possessing excellent communication skills - Demonstrating excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Previous experience in a fast-paced start-up and AGILE culture - Having an innovative mindset and the ability to explore new tools and technologies - Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - 3 to 5 years of experience as a Software Developer - Strong proficiency in Python, Django, and SQL - Experience in database integration and report generation - Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills You will be based in Thane for this work-from-office role with a 5-day work week. Compensation will be based on your qualification and experience.
