Job Description

As a director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision future improvements to the architecture.

Job responsibilities

Own a high scale cloud service handling billions of transactions.
Provide leadership, direction and strategy for a team of senior managers, engineers and architects.
Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features and operational requirements.
Drive the delivery of roadmap commitments on time with high quality.
Work closely with a variety of stakeholders to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively.
Provide regular updates to executive management.
Monitor the health of the services in the cloud and proactively drive solutions to problems before they impact availability or reliability.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor s/master s degree in computer science, or equivalent.
Experience leading and growing software development teams.
Experience leading development of commercially available multi-tenant services in the cloud.
Strong understanding of cloud native architectures.
Demonstrated ability in writing documents that clearly articulate the product roadmap and engineering delivery plans.

Preferred qualification

Understanding of how AI can be used to enhance different stages of product development and support.
Background in patient accounting products.
