Software Developer - Java

As a Software Engineer at Experian, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend. You will also be tasked with building responsive user interfaces using Angular and React frameworks, working with RESTful APIs, and integrating frontend with backend services. Additionally, you will deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS. Your role will involve participating in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and maintenance. It is essential to write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. Collaboration with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and DevOps team members is crucial to deliver high-quality products. You are expected to work from Hyderabad for a Hybrid work mode (2 days a week) and report to an Engineering Manager. Qualifications: - Educational Qualification: BE/B. Tech - 12.5 years of hands-on experience in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) development - 1+ years of experience with Angular (v10+) and ReactJS - Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript - 1+ years of experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON, and Microservices - Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git) - Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma) is a plus - Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) Experian is a global data and technology company that is dedicated to empowering people and businesses worldwide.
