JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: Sr. Software Developer LOCATION: R&D - Kasarwadi, Pune POSITION SUMMARY: He/She will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to meet the organisation's needs. He/She will be responsible for leading and participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions. He/She should have a deep understanding of software development best practices, architectural patterns, and coding standards, and should be proficient in multiple programming languages and technologies. Additionally, he/she will be involved in mentoring junior developers, conducting code reviews, and providing technical guidance to the team. He/She should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and should be updated with the latest technology and software development methodologies. GOALS: Platform Development, enhancements, deployment and maintenance of the platform. Development/Enhancements in calculation engine, report engine as per the requirement of various application packages and services that we offer to customers. Build the robust code and platform with cutting edge technologies which will help organisation to provide the committed deliverables to customers. TECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: 1. Good Knowledge of operating systems: Linux and Windows 2. Python (Advance) 3. JAVA (Advance) 4. Multi-threaded programming 5. Data structures and algorithms 6. Cloud Architecture/Certification - GCP or AWS 7. Micro-Service-based architecture like Kubernetes etc. 8.
