At OpenText, we are looking for a motivated, highly passionate Software Developer for Open Enterprise Server which is part of File Server Group who has the experience, talent, skill-set and confidence to work with a world-class development team at IDC, OpenText Bengaluru office. The team member will be responsible to work along with product development team to contribute primarily on the engineering for the product, which includes participate in product engineering, understanding, and contributing to developing required software modules for the planned releases. Roles And Responsibilities

Ability to write clean code for given the requirements.

• Debug the issues and able to come up with solutions.
• Quickly grasp the development process, able to understand the design and component interactions.
• Should have good analytical skills to build the logic to develop solutions.
• Grasp quickly high- and low-level design of the product modules
• Work on root causing and resolving defects found by customer or in house quality assurance team for the given module
• Ability to write clean code with UT cases
• Inclined towards innovation, and actively plugged into evaluating emerging technologies/industry trends for the product betterment
• Willingness to learn, adapt, stretch beyond boundaries to deliver on quality adhering to timelines.
  

Education And Experience Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

• 0 to 2 years of proven industry experience on Angular, JS, TS, Java, basic data structures and front end technologies like CSS, HTML.
  

Required Mandatory Skills

Good academic scores with no backlogs

• Proficiency of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 8 and above, AJAX, JSON, HTML5 and CSS is must
• Possess strong coding skills and oops concepts in Java
• Knowledge on basic data structures, OS concepts is mandatory
• Good exposure to modern frontend development frameworks
• Good analytical and aptitude skills
  

Desirable Skills

Knowledge on Agile Scrum/TDD methodologies

• Exposure to Windows and Linux
