Software Architect

As the successful candidate for this role, you will be responsible for architecting an end-to-end e-commerce application as part of the In-Flight Connectivity (IFC) product suite. Your role will involve acting as a technical leader, mentoring other software engineers and architects, developing software architecture designs, and facilitating discussions between stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and document end-to-end eCommerce architectures for B2B, B2B2C, and B2C models. - Define and implement microservices, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures. - Develop secure, high-transaction web and mobile application architectures aligned with PCI DSS compliance. - Collaborate on DevOps, CI/CD, AWS Cloud Services, and infrastructure tools like API gateways, CDNs, and message buses. - Conduct design reviews, technical documentation, and architecture presentations. - Evaluate and prototype new technologies to enhance the product roadmap. - Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineering teams. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or other related engineering degree, or equivalent experience. - 8+ years of full stack programming in at least two languages: PHP, Node.js, ReactJS, JavaScript, Go, Python. - 8+ years of building transactional systems using relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Maria DB, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Aurora, Document DB, or similar. - 3+ Years experience with Public Cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or GCP. - 3+ years as a tech lead / architect. - Certifications Preferred - AWS Developer, AWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional. The company is looking for someone with strong expertise in eCommerce platforms like Magento, Shopify Plus, PimCore, or similar. Proficiency in web front-end frameworks, particularly React, is preferred. A solid background in AWS Cloud Services and DevOps practices is required, along with experience in Salesforce integrations. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are essential, along with Agile/Scrum experience.
