Key Responsibilities:

  1. Grant Proposal Development:
  2. Lead the development and writing of grant proposals with a lens to socio-economic across sectors.
  3. Collaborate with project teams to identify funding opportunities and develop compelling grant narratives.
  4. Ensure proposals meet all requirements and deadlines set by funding agencies.
  5. Socio-Economic Impact Assessments:
  6. Conduct thorough assessments of the potential socio-economic impacts of the interventions in awarded projects.
  7. Utilize quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze data and generate insightful impact assessments.
  8. Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to project stakeholders and decision-makers (both internal and external).
  9. Research and Analysis:
  10. Stay updated on current socio-economic trends, policies, and best practices related to grant funding and impact assessments.
  11. Conduct research and analysis to support evidence-based decision-making and policy development.
  12. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate socio-economic perspectives into project planning and evaluation.
  13. Stakeholder Engagement:
  14. Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, community groups, and funders, to gather input and feedback on proposed projects.
  15. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for socio-economic initiatives.

Candidates Profile:

  1. Master's or Ph.D. in Economics, Sociology, Public Policy, or related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years experience in grant proposal development, with a track record of securing funding for socio-economic projects.
  3. Expertise in socio-economic impact assessment methodologies, including cost-benefit analysis, social return on investment (SROI), and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and ethical considerations in socio-economic research and grant writing.
  8. A willingness to travel as and when required.
