Master Data Associate - Material & Production

Role Overview:

The Master Data Associate Material & Production will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across the organization. This position supports data validation, cleansing, and maintenance activities, and contributes to the continuous improvement of data management workflows. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, and operations, to maintain high-quality data standards in enterprise systems like SAP and Oracle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data maintenance and validation tasks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of material and production master data
• Support data operations including cleansing, enrichment, and governance activities
• Assist in process optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing data workflows and improving operational efficiency
• Learn and support data analysis tasks to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
• Provide assistance to internal stakeholders and end-users regarding data tools, best practices, and issue resolution
• Maintain and update data quality reports to support compliance, governance, and audit readiness
• Collaborate with cross-functional business, IT, and operations teams to resolve data-related issues and align with company-wide goals
• Participate in data migration and integration activities as part of broader digital transformation efforts

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
• 13 years of experience in SAP ECC, master data management, data governance, or data operations (preferably in the healthcare or biotech industry)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of SAP/Oracle systems and their application in material and production master data
• Familiarity with SAP S/4, SAP MDG, and SAP TM
• Hands-on experience with data management tools such as Informatica
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to technical and non-technical audiences
