Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer/Inspector to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in inspecting and maintaining rotating machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections on rotating equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Conduct vibration analysis and troubleshooting on various types of rotating machinery.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies for rotating equipment to maximize reliability and efficiency.
Prepare detailed reports on equipment condition, inspection findings, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel regarding rotating equipment issues.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in rotating equipment engineering.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10-15 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering or inspection.
Strong knowledge of rotary machinery, including pumps, compressors, turbines, and gearboxes.
Experience with condition monitoring techniques such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and oil analysis.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (API, ASME, ISO).
Proficient in using relevant software for analysis and reporting (e.g., vibration analysis software, CMMS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
