Social Media Specialist (Sports / Gymkhana Industry)

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Specialist with strong experience in sports clubs, gymkhanas, fitness, or recreation facilities. The candidate will manage the digital presence of the club, promote events, engage members, and enhance brand visibility across all social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage end-to-end social media strategy for the club/gymkhana.
• Design content calendars, campaigns, and communication plans for sports events, tournaments, festive functions, and membership promotions.
• Create engaging content: posts, reels, stories, short-form videos, behind-the-scenes sports content, and event updates.
• Cover live sports events, matches, tournaments, and club activities for social media.
• Build and grow digital engagement among the clubs member community.
• Coordinate with sports coaches, event teams, admin, and club management to gather content.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in social media management.
• Mandatory: Experience with sports clubs, gymkhanas, fitness centers, or similar membership-based institutions.
• Strong understanding of sports culture, tournaments, and event-based content creation.
• Excellent skills in reels, short-form videos, trending content, and creative conceptualization.
• Proficiency in tools: Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, Instagram insights, etc.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across club teams.
• Ability to work on weekends or during sports events when required (club environment).

• Run paid social campaigns for member acquisition, event promotions, or brand enhancement.
• Manage social listening, comments, DMs, and escalate member queries when required.
• Track KPIs, engagement metrics, growth analytics, and prepare monthly reports.
• Maintain brand identity and ensure consistent communication across platforms.
