Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Content Management: Create, curate, schedule, and publish engaging content (text, images, videos) tailored to each specific platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to user comments, messages, and mentions to foster an online community and manage customer service inquiries.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns, manage budgets, and potentially coordinate influencer marketing efforts.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay current with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and tools to keep the brand's presence relevant and innovative.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in social media marketing or a related digital media role, often requiring 5-8 years of experience.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong copywriting and editing abilities to adapt the brand's voice for different platforms.
• Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge and understanding of major social media platforms, their unique features, and best practices.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, platform-specific insights) to make data-driven decisions.
• Creativity: A creative mindset and an eye for design to generate original and visually appealing content.
• Project and Time Management: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage content calendars, deadlines, and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is often preferred, but practical experience and a strong portfolio can be more important.
