Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Manager – Government/Political Clients

Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Experience Required: 3–5 years (with prior experience handling government/political client accounts)

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and monitoring online campaigns

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of official social media pages
(Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
for govt./political clients.
Draft, schedule, and publish engaging posts
aligned with campaign goals, government initiatives, or political messaging.
Handle live event coverage – real-time posting, stories, reels, hashtags, and engagement.
Monitor social media trends, hashtags
, and audience sentiment to maximize visibility.
Track and analyze page performance through
social media analytics
and generate regular reports.
Coordinate with design, content, and video teams to ensure timely delivery of creatives.
Ensure brand consistency, adherence to communication guidelines, and sensitive handling of political narratives.

Requirements:

Proven experience (3–5 years) managing social media accounts for government, political leaders, or related organizations.
S
trong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics dashboards.
Ability to handle real-time updates and high-pressure live event scenarios.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi (or regional language if required).
Creative mindset with knowledge of social media trends
, hashtags, and digital storytelling.
Flexible to work beyond regular hours during events, rallies, or campaign drives.
