Role Overview

The Social Media Executive will be responsible for managing and growing the companys social media presence while actively supporting marketing and branding initiatives. The role offers hands-on exposure to brand building, campaign execution, product launches, digital marketing strategies, and cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Manage official social media handles (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Create, schedule, publish, and monitor daily social media content
  • Ensure consistent brand tone, messaging, and visual identity across platforms
  • Engage with followers, respond to queries, comments, and messages in a timely manner

Content Creation & Coordination

  • Assist in ideation and execution of creative content including posts, reels, stories, videos, and campaigns
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and agencies for content creation
  • Support shoot planning for product launches, events, and branding activities

Marketing & Branding Exposure

  • Support marketing campaigns, brand activations, product launches, and promotional initiatives
  • Assist in implementing brand guidelines across digital platforms
  • Work closely with the marketing team on ATL, BTL, and digital branding initiatives
  • Help in executing influencer marketing and brand collaboration campaigns
  • Gain exposure to overall brand strategy, positioning, and communication planning

Campaign & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor social media performance and engagement metrics
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights
  • Assist in optimizing content and campaigns based on analytics

Market & Trend Research

  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital formats
  • Suggest innovative ideas to improve brand visibility and engagement

Qualification & Experience

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media handling or digital marketing
  • Freshers with strong internships and practical exposure may also be considered

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking with an eye for branding and aesthetics
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing, branding, and social media algorithms
  • Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Canva, etc.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
