About the Role

We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Executive to be the digital voice of our brand. This role is for a proactive individual who is passionate about storytelling and can transform our unique work in sustainable agriculture and technology into compelling, thumb-stopping content. You will be instrumental in building our online community, highlighting our commitment to environmental stewardship and technological innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Execution: Plan, develop, and execute a comprehensive monthly content calendar across key social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, etc.).
  • Creative Content Generation: Drive the creation of diverse and engaging content formats, including high-quality reels, carousels, static posts, polls, and user-generated content (UGC).
  • Live Event Coverage: Lead on-ground content production by covering live events and on-site activities to create digital-first stories that capture the essence of our mission.
  • Brand Alignment: Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure all social media messaging is consistent and aligned with broader marketing campaigns and company goals.
  • Community & Reputation Management: Actively manage and nurture our online community by promptly responding to direct messages, comments, and mentions.
  • Performance Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics in real-time, using insights to refine and optimize content strategies for maximum engagement and reach.
  • Trendspotting: Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring trending topics and internet culture, pitching timely and reactive content ideas that keep the brand relevant.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in social media management or content creation, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Platform Expertise: Strong, up-to-date knowledge of social media platform algorithms, best practices, and evolving content formats.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent writing and captivating captioning skills with a flair for creative and impactful storytelling.
  • Creative & Technical Skills: Basic design proficiency (e.g., Canva) or demonstrated ability to work effectively with designers to produce visually appealing content.
  • Tool Familiarity: Familiarity with social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Passion: A genuine interest in sustainability, technology, and farming is highly desirable.
  • Personal Attributes: A multitasking professional who thrives in a collaborative, content-first, and results-driven work culture.
