About the Role

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support the growth of our online presence across platforms. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating reels, editing videos, designing posts, writing engaging content and analysing audience behaviour.

You will learn how to manage multiple social media channels for an organisation and gain hands-on experience in digital branding.

Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation

• Create Instagram reels, short videos and training/event highlights.
• Design posts, stories and carousels using Canva or similar tools.
• Write clear, engaging captions and copy for social platforms.

Social Media Management

• Assist in managing our social media handles (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
• Plan and schedule content calendars under guidance.
• Ensure consistency in brand style, tone and messaging.

Analytics & Tracking

• Track follower growth, post performance, reach and engagement insights.
• Prepare weekly or monthly analytics reports.
• Suggest improvements based on data patterns.

Creative Research

• Stay updated with current trends, sounds, reel formats and social trends.
• Bring new ideas for engaging, high-quality content.

Desired Skills & Qualities

• Creative mindset with strong visual sense
• Basic knowledge of video editing (mobile or desktop)
• Comfortable with Canva, CapCut, InShot or similar tools
• Good communication and writing skills
• Curiosity to learn digital marketing concepts
• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented
• Keen understanding of trends on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.

Preferred Educational Background

• Mass Communication / Media Studies
• BA English / Journalism
• BBA (Marketing)
• Graphic Design & Multimedia courses
• Film/Media Production diplomas
• Any stream with strong interest in social media, content creation & branding
