Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Social Media Analyst and Content Specialist to join our Digital Agency. This role demands a professional with a flair for writing engaging daily content and a deep understanding of social media platforms and their performance metrics. You will be responsible for complete social media management, from strategy and execution to monitoring results and building online communities, all while staying abreast of the latest trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:

    Take complete ownership of a brand's social media presence, ranging from

    strategy development, planning, execution, and continuous monitoring

    of results across all platforms.
  • Content Creation:

    Generate creative and engaging content on a day-to-day basis, with a flair for writing daily postings suitable for various social channels.
  • Analytical Reporting:

    Collect and analyze data related to social media marketing campaigns. Track the performance of various social media initiatives and develop/implement changes to improve business results. Generate detailed reports highlighting positives, negatives, and campaign progress.
  • Strategic Consulting:

    Assist organizations in identifying appropriate social media channels for their specific business needs and tailor campaigns to target audiences effectively. Provide analysis and recommendations as various projects evolve.
  • Community Building & Engagement:

    Possess the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats, and build and maintain engaging conversations online. Nurture and grow online communities. Deliver real-time content within relevant social spaces that dynamically engages the audience.
  • Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

    Stay aware of various social media trends and leverage this knowledge to inform strategies and content.
  • Cross-functional Leadership:

    Be a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Blogging & Seeding:

    Knowledge of blogging and seeding to relevant blog pages, groups on social platforms, and relevant communities. Candidates with blogging, newsletter writing, and press release experience are preferred.
  • Campaign Optimization:

    Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to ensure overall campaign success, uncover problems, and measure results.
  • Compliance & Reporting:

    Be proficient in meeting deadlines and reporting effectively to Senior Managers (Social Media Manager or head of a unit/department).

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in Digital and/or Social Media Marketing with a digital agency.
  • Strong analytical skills to collect and analyze data related to social media marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in English with a flair for writing daily postings on various social channels.
  • Good technical understanding and the ability to pick up new tools quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of blogging and seeding to relevant blog pages, groups on social platforms, and relevant communities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain engaging conversations online.
  • A team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
  • Proficiency in Qualitative and Quantitative research methods.
