Snr Manager, Data Analysis

As a Data Analyst at Standard Chartered, your role involves interpreting data and transforming it into valuable information to enhance business processes and influence decision-making. You will collaborate closely with Data Managers, Data Engineers, Data Quality Analysts, as well as upstream data teams and downstream Process Owners to ensure effective data utilization. Your primary responsibilities include: - Defining clear and detailed business requirements for FCC Data, outlining data elements, formats needed, and transformation expectations - Creating and maintaining documentation on data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in FCC - Collaborating with downstream FCC business process owners to enhance datasets, improve data quality, and provide training as needed - Conducting thorough analysis of upstream changes impacting FCC data and identifying areas for process improvement - Producing insightful dashboards and reports to present data health, content, and insights for management decision-making Qualifications for this role include: - Minimum 10+ years of experience as a business change analyst in financial markets related to banking products - Preferred degree in Engineering and MBA - Good understanding of systems and data flows in Financial Crime Compliance / Anti Money Laundering - Experience in analytical roles with a technical component, familiarity with data profiling tools and methodologies - Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple data initiatives simultaneously Skills and experience required: - Ability to translate between detailed functional data requirements and non-technical terms - Proficiency in writing clear and concise business requirements understood by various stakeholders - Competence in data profiling tools such as SQL, Paxata, or Tableau - Familiarity with data documentation, delivery workflow tools like JIRA and Confluence - Experience in handling large datasets and relational databases About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive impact for clients, communities, and employees.
