Snowflake Architect

We are looking for a highly experienced Snowflake Architect with over 5 years of experience in designing and implementing Snowflake-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable data platforms, optimizing data pipelines, and ensuring efficient data storage and processing on Snowflake. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet business objectives and drive data-driven strategies. Key Responsibilities Architect and design Snowflake-based data platforms to meet business requirements. Develop and optimize data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, storage, and processing. Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure data quality and availability. Design scalable and high-performance data models using Snowflake. Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy requirements. Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in Snowflake environments. Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for Snowflake development and architecture. Document data architecture and processes, ensuring clear communication across teams. Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data architecture , with at least 3 years of experience working with Snowflake . Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, data modeling, and optimization . Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes. Snowflake certification is a plus. Technical Skills Proficiency in Snowflake features including Virtual Warehouses, Time Travel, Cloning, and Secure Data Sharing Expertise in data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning in Snowflake Experience with SQL , Python , or other scripting languages Familiarity with data integration tools such as Informatica, Matillion, or Talend Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git) Good to Have Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies. Familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven data solutions. Experience with other data platforms such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Databricks. Understanding of DevOps practices for managing Snowflake environments. Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop or Spark. Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) Architect and implement Snowflake-based data solutions. Ensure efficient data pipelines for data ingestion, storage, and processing. Collaborate with teams to ensure data quality and governance. Provide leadership and guidance on Snowflake best practices. Monitor and resolve performance issues in Snowflake environments.
