As a Snowflake Architect - Offshore - Manager, your role involves collaborating with stakeholders, data engineers, and business analysts to design and architect data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform. You will be responsible for creating detailed data models and schema designs to meet various business requirements. Additionally, you will harness Snowparks multi-language capabilities to develop efficient and modular code. Your responsibilities also include developing custom user-defined functions (UDFs) to enhance Snowflake's native capabilities and optimize query performance. In your role as a technical leader, you will lead a team of developers and data engineers, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support throughout the development lifecycle. You will drive best practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure that the team adheres to industry standards and conventions. Your duties will also involve developing and maintaining data integration workflows to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources into Snowflake. You will implement ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. To optimize Snowflake database performance, you will be required to tune queries, optimize data structures, and improve data loading and extraction processes. Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues are also part of your responsibilities. In terms of security and governance, you will implement and enforce data security measures, access controls, and data governance policies within Snowflake. Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards is crucial.
