Job Description

Role Summary:

Manage and optimize the Snowflake data platform, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable operation. Responsibilities include user and role management, platform-level configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and supporting automated workflows and data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer Snowflake accounts, roles, users, and access control using RBAC best practices
Configure and monitor warehouses, resource monitors, query performance, and usage
Maintain Tasks, Streams, Stored Procedures, and Snowflake Functions for automation
Implement data security, masking, and row access policies
Support CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices with version control and automated deployments
Monitor, troubleshoot, and report on platform performance and audit compliance

Minimum Requirements:

5-6 years in data platform administration, 3+ years focused on Snowflake
Expertise in user and role management, access control, and Snowflake security models
Hands-on experience with Tasks, Streams, Stored Procedures, and Snowflake Functions
Strong SQL and scripting skills for automation
Familiarity with cloud platform integration (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Terraform, CI/CD)
Knowledge of performance tuning, query profiling, warehouse optimization, and monitoring
