Job Description

Snowflake Admin with Cortex support experience

Manage and maintain Snowflake environments (development, test, and production)
Exploring all the new features in Snowflake and do a POV or POC on the same
Should be able to support Snowflake Cortex as well.
Monitor system health, performance, and storage utilization to ensure optimal operation.
Perform user and role administration, warehouse management, and access provisioning.
Coordinate version upgrades, patching, and system maintenance with minimal downtime.
Implement and enforce data governance policies, including access control, role hierarchy, and data masking.
Manage authentication mechanisms (SSO, MFA, key-based access) in alignment with organizational security standards.
Monitor and tune query performance, warehouse sizing, and resource utilization.
Identify long-running or high-cost queries and implement optimization strategies.
Enable automatic clustering and caching strategies to improve performance and cost efficiency.

Manage incidents, service requests, and changes via established ITSM processes
