• Develop and optimize strategic products for multiple applications
• Develop and implement new research programs and protocols into the company or organization and oversee the development of new products
• Provide technical expertise for products in development, new or improvement of existing Planning, execution and evaluation of projects while maintaining food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing the entire development process of new products and programs within theorganization, from the initial planning phase to implementation and/or production.
• Ensuring that all quality standards are in place or up to date.
• Monitor and maintain quality of final productsas per companys specifications
• Evaluate laboratory safety procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Working together with safety manager for improving policies, procedures & conduct training programs.
• Understand customer needs & requirements to develop effective solutions.

• Report to senior management on company product technical issues as well as technical developments within the market
• Direct, coordinate, or advise to management about test procedures for analyzing components or physical properties of materials.
• Communicate with VP and other team members to offer possible solution for corrective action

• Work along-side multiple departments with all aspects of product roll-out including marketing, creative, training and materials.
• Lead product development ideations
• Develop and refine specifications for new and/or existing products.
• Resolution of technical issues that arise during the development; production, operational, or performance based.
• Work closely with Operations, Purchasing and Brand Marketing in communication of technical information, related to new product test programs.
• Keep track of all the costs related to the creation of these new products and decide what ideas are worth pursuing.
• Establish and maintain testing procedures for assessing raw materials, in both process and finished products
• Manage trial or testing programs for products/services through the management of staff and assignment of staff and utilization of resources
• Budgeting and cost forecasting of technical development or research programs.
• Validate the various tests on the samples drawn and noting down observation in computer databases/register on timely manner.
• Discuss Daily test reports with Top Management on the performance of Laboratory Management
• Approve all test reports prepared by Sr. R&D Executive & R&D Executive and ensuring all lab personnel working as per laid down procedure
• Timely raise the Indent for availability of lab equipment and chemicals and follow Laboratory Quality Management System
• Instruct Sr. R&D Executive & R&D Executive to handle tools and equipments with care and use them in the correct way.
• Ensure that testing procedure are applied as per SOP.

• Prepare TDS (Technical Data Sheet)
• Prepare COA (Certificate of Analysis)
• Prepare test reports
• Record NEAR MISS in the workplace/site

• Ensure everyone use and maintain personal protective equipment such as nose mask hand gloves etc., as per protocol.
• Ensure that Personal belongings are placed on a separate place
• Ensure that First Aid is available when needed

• Ensure training strategy is being implemented by training personnel effectively.
• Train and maintain a team of technicians.
• Provide training to new employees and make sure they effectively learn the testing procedure.

• Participate in seminars/conferences/Business events in order to be up to date on new developments for improving &maintaining skills and expertise in concerned fields/areas.
