The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing large-scale Snowflake environments. This role includes overseeing our Snowflake SaaS instance (deployed via AWS), integrating with tools such as Prefect, dbt, and Python-based data pipelines , and ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and compliance across the platform. This is a remote, offshore contract role reporting to the Cloud Platform Engineering leadership team . Key Responsibilities Snowflake Administration Manage and maintain the Snowflake SaaS environment, including user roles, security, data sharing, and integrations. Monitor and optimize system performance for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency. Administer Snowflake components such as SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Tasks, and Streams . Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and loading pipelines. Configure and manage SSO (Single Sign-On) and IAM integrations with AWS.
