Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure our Snowflake data platform in an Azure-based environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering Snowflake in production, implementing security and governance policies, and supporting data engineering and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Snowflake environments, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and availability.
• Implement and manage RBAC, RLS, and CLS policies for data access and security.
• Monitor and optimize query performance, storage utilization, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, modelers, and architects to support ETL and data modeling activities.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployment using Terraform and Azure DevOps.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate operational processes.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy frameworks.
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Provide support for incident resolution, user provisioning, and environment maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Snowflake in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of Azure Cloud architecture and data services.
• Expertise in SQL, Snowflake scripting, and data modeling.
• Experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, or other CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills:

• Snowflake SnowPro Certification.
• Azure Administrator or Azure Data Engineer Certification.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud platforms.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
