This role exists to conceptualize, specify & develop the Body control module (BCM), Discrete controller and sensors used for Body domains (Sun Roof controller , Seat controller , Tail gate controller ,Interior Volumetric Sensors, Power window controller, Rain light sensors etc), Gate way ECU, in line with defined Technical Policy and Technology Roadmap, for all PVBU and EVBU vehicles. This role defines Standards & Carryover Strategy of the EE modules, submodules, and drives it's Engineering, aligned to the QCT of the projects.. Dimensions of the position Non-Financial :-

1)12+ years of experience in domain of Body Electronics system development
2)Knowledge of ECU features & software requirements, Validation test cases.
3)Knowledge of ECU V cycle development from concept to production from an OEM perspective.
4)Experience of at least 2 full product development cycles
5)Experience of new technology integration / development

Innovation and Technology management:
Keep abreast with Technology trends and relevant technology providers Map feasibility of application of new technologies over a time horizon and propose a technology roadmap
Develop technologies as per approved roadmap
Execute and document milestones of TCDS process TCDS (Technology creation & development system ) milestones cleared as per plan
2 Develop Capability:
Create short and medium term engineering capability plans to achieve functional objectives Formulate component/aggregate strategy
Formulate guidelines and best practices for the aggregate based on the learnings from the projects (TGR & TGW).
Create & update foundation DFMEAs for the aggregate 8/30/23, 10:19 AM Meeting Targets in the BSC 3Product Development
Drive the engineering, development, testing & validation of the sub modules Review progress of project and review and approve DMLs to meet the best practices for CoC
Implement best practices to find and solve problems in the project.
Drive VAVE for their aggregates as per the yearly targets.
Guide and Review cost and weight effective solutions and propose implementation in the project
Participate in resolution of escalated issues by VMTL & Project Leader
Support delivery of the aggregates as per the project timeline, within the defined cost and quality targets 4People Management
Cascade of BSC targets to individual KRA s.
Monitor performance and provide individual feedback to direct and wherever necessary indirect reports. Capture the current and future skills and competency requirements for all the VE roles.
Monitor and take corrective measures to bridge gaps in skills and competencies for the department.
Ensure Communication cascade within the team.
