SMSF Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SMSF Specialist Full-Time Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire SMSF annual tax return and financial statement preparation process, liaising with auditors, and ensuring all SMSF tax reporting is completed with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review SMSF annual tax returns and financial statements.
• Liaise with auditors to address and resolve all audit questions.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather and clarify any missing information or queries.
• Finalise SMSF annual tax reporting accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Stay updated with all SMSF-related rules and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of experience exclusively in SMSF tax work.
• In-depth knowledge of SMSF-related rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and auditors.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• M.Com/MBA/CA/CPA/CMA
• Experience with SMSF software and tools including ClassSuper and BGL360.
