Job Summary

ServiceMax Senior Developer

operational efficiency, data accuracy, and end-user experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and develop

    ServiceMax applications

    including SFM configurations, Wizards, Workflows, Checklists, and Time Sheets.
  • Implement

    customizations using Apex, Lightning, Visualforce

    , and Salesforce Flows to meet client-specific requirements.
  • Lead

    ServiceMax upgrades, environment refreshes, and version migrations

    ensuring zero downtime and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate

    ServiceMax with ERP, OIC, Oracle, and other enterprise systems

    .
  • Manage

    end-to-end AMS (Application Maintenance & Support)

    activities including incident management, change requests, and defect fixes.
  • Develop and maintain

    CI/CD pipelines

    using Copado, Bitbucket, or Git-based repositories.
  • Perform

    UAT/SIT testing

    , manage release deployments, and provide production support post-implementation.
  • Conduct

    code reviews, root cause analysis

    , and implement automation for recurring issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed

    technical documentation, configuration guides, and SOPs

    .
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years

    of experience in Salesforce & ServiceMax development and configuration.
  • Proficient in

    ServiceMax modules

    SFM, Work Orders, Scheduling, Dispatch Console, Installed Base, Preventive Maintenance, and Entitlements.
  • Strong knowledge of

    Salesforce platform development

    : Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Triggers, and Workflows.
  • Experience in

    ServiceMax upgrades (e.g., 23.x, 24.x)

    and environment management.
  • Hands-on experience with

    Copado

    , Git, Bitbucket, or other version control tools.
  • Experience with

    REST/SOAP API integrations

    , OIC, and middleware systems.
  • Familiar with

    ITIL processes

    , Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Exposure to

    SMAX (Service Management Automation X)

    or Micro Focus-based service modules is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • ServiceMax Certified Administrator (Admin 101/201).
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator / Platform Developer I or II.
  • Experience in

    Agile / DevOps

    environments.
  • Exposure to

    CI/CD and Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)

    .
